Composite bonding is a fantastic way to treat cracked, chipped or discoloured teeth, quickly and simply, and restore them to their natural look and feel.
We use high quality and highly polishable bonded composite (white filling material) to recreate the appearance and mimic your own teeth as closely as possible.
They can be a great alternative to porcelain veneers and can even fill in spaces between teeth and change their shape for a more symmetrical look.

Unlike veneers and crowns, composite bonding does not require our Cherryvalley Dental Care team to remove any part of the tooth.
This is what to expect during the Composite Bonding treatment:
We clean your teeth to protect against infection and prepare them for the resin.
The resin is applied and shaped so your teeth are even and natural looking
We shine UV light on the treated teeth to set and harden the resin
We polish your teeth and perform minor shaping or trimming so your smiles looks incredible!

Composite bonding can be a very cost effective option compared to the cost of crowns and veneers. The treatment is also far less intrusive and invasive since material is being added to your tooth, rather than altered or removed and can last much longer. If you take care of your newly restored teeth the bonding resin can last a very long time- in some cases up to 10 years or more. And though the composite resin is incredibly hard and durable, it’s not as strong as your natural teeth and may chip away over time or break off completely. However, if this does happen it is quite easy to put more resin in place.
