The Inman Aligner is a simple and revolutionary removable appliance used to create beautiful smiles quickly and safely.
The system is designed for straightening the front teeth only (as opposed to realigning all the teeth) and for treating crowding, protrusions, rotations, crossbites or for correcting orthodontic relapses.
The Inman Aligner uses nickel titanium coil springs connected to two aligner bows. These bows push back against each other to gently guide your teeth into place.
Your Cherryvalley dentist will digitally scan your teeth so they can create and fit your new Inman Aligner, which you will need to wear daily for 16-20 hours until your treatment is complete.
Every 2-3 weeks, we will invite you back so we can check your progress and resolve any issues and in about 6- 18 months the treatment will be over and you’ll have a brand new smile!

When you first put in your new Inman Aligner you will probably find it a little strange when you speak- some describe it as trying to talk with marbles in your mouth. However, the more you talk, the faster you will get used to the aligner and the sooner your speech will feel and sound natural again.
Inman Aligners apply constant and steady forces to your teeth, so you may have a little discomfort for a few days. Mild painkillers, such as paracetamol and ibuprofen can help with any discomfort but any pain should go away on its own within a day or two.
The Inman Aligner system generally gives the desired results in a matter of weeks compared to years it can take with traditional metal braces. Depending on how much we need to move your teeth, you should see very pleasing results in as little as 6 weeks.
